So we just had to read this book for our first assignment and I think it is a godsend! It helped me understand IB so much better and feel more confident about going to the program. If you ever get the chance to read the book I highly recommend it! You might gain a little bit more understanding about IB in general. :)

Q
Hi! I go to Lincoln, so you know... we hear a ton of stuff about IB, and how hard it is, staying up until 2 am finishing work. I am wondering if that's true? I am so scared, because I don't want to be the person always stressing out about work and tests (etc) I am now really considering GHS, because I want to be a doctor when I grow up, and I would do the Health Program and Cambridge. I just want to know why I should go to EHS. Do you like it? etc.

IB is definitely intense and it takes a lot of hard work, but there is no reason to stay up until 2 in the morning if you stay on top of your work :) manage your time well and it will be fine. During exams it can get stressful but it doesn’t last long and it feels so good to be finished :) If you work hard you will be just fine!

Hey! So, if you saw the last post by the lovely previous owners of IbGirlProblems, you can see that they gave up the blog. So now me and my best friend will be carrying on the tradition! To introduce ourselves there are pictures! I chose the most embarrassing picture I could find ;) We are Ashley and Casi and are super excited to have the blog! Hopefully we will be able to post regularly :) Feel free to ask questions and suggest new posts, we love to hear from you!

Q
I am going to be a sophmore next year and the ib program was just implemented at my school (1 year ago). I had a 4.0 my entire freshman year, work hard and am going to be taking physics and honors alegbra 2 next year as well as honors english. I was wondering if you would have any insight on whether I would be good canidate for this program? Also, would I be able to keep up a 4.0 while in ib? I really want to be a valedictorian at my school. Any tips for getting through the full ib program?

Honestly if you have the drive and want to be in the program and do well, YOU WILL. It’s all about wanting to be in the program and do your best that will help you the most. Keep an open mind and talk to your teachers. They are there to help you be a sucessful IB student. Manage your time and stay on top of assignments. Talk to your friends and parents when you start to get stressed out, if you ever feel that way. You already sound like an awesome student and I’m sure you will thrive in the IB program! Good luck! :)

Q
High school is really soon and I was just wondering how to get in IB classes :P? Haha sorry I'm not being specific with my question..

Really you just have to ask if your school offers it or not. It’s all about talking to teachers and counselors.

Q
im transferring from an american school to IB. is it a bad idea? i think i can do it, but my current school gives us really easy task so i don't know if i can cope with IB. :/ can you help me? i'm a sophomore right now

I think you will be fantastic! I know everybody says how stressful it is but isn’t college the same way? Some time or another you’re going to have to face a difficult or stressful school situation and it’s going to be much easier when you’re at home with friends and family instead of away at college. Just take it all one day and at a time and breathe, you’ll be awesome! :)

Alright this blog is back up for grabs, if you would like to own Ib Girl Confessions, you can just message me at scribblingsofmylife.tumblr.com and it is yours. We realized that us owning the site was a really bad idea mainly because we never post so if you would like to take over please do because there will be no more posts from us :/ Sry, it’s just not likely.
